To those who’ve been doubting about the LG V10, sorry to say but the South Korean tech company has already sold 450,000 units since its launch in the US. That figure is only after one and a half months (45 days) according to an official report by LG. On the average, about 10,000 LG V10’s are sold each day in the North American market (Canada not included). The new phablet from LG is becoming more popular each day not only for its size but also for its special features.
The LG V10 is more of a multimedia phone. The huge 2560 x 1440 display screen makes it ideal for watching videos and playing mobile games or simply just browsing the web. There’s a small secondary screen for notifications and alerts while the Snapdragon 808 processor and 4GB RAM make the device run fast. This early success only proves that LG is still popular in the United States despite the fast growth of the Chinese-manufactured phones with ZTE USA leading the pack.
The LG V10 is currently the Korean firm’s most popular model with the younger audience. Of the buyers, about 37% are between 25 to 34 years old. That’s still the young generation—-the ones who enjoy watching videos on their mobile devices. The LG V10 also features a manual video recording mode so it’s probably one of the reasons why the creative people prefer this phone.
To review, the LG V10 comes equipped with the following: 5.7-inch IPS Quantum Display, 2560 x 1440 resolution, “always-on” secondary 2.1-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, and a 3,000 mAh Quick Charge removable battery. When it comes to imaging, the phone boasts of meeting the Extreme Photo-Imaging Capabilities (EPIC) of SanDisk. It comes with Dual Front Cameras with a pair of separate lenses that can take 80-degree selfies and 120-degree wide angle photos.
