Following the trail of the LG K4 and K10, the K8 LTE from LG will soon be available. The smartphone listed with a K350N model number was spotted on an official LG site—the local Hundary version where specs and features were listed. LG just announced the Android 6.0 Marshmallow powered K8 a few days ahead of MWC 2016. The timing of this launch tells us that the K8 is one minor item and just one of the many new products LG is going to unveil at the MWC 2016.
The LG K series is aimed at the low to mid-range tier so we can expect the K8 to sell together with the LG K10 and K4 especially when they’re release in global markets. The LG K8 comes equipped with a 5.0-inch touchscreen display, 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset, 8GB onboard storage, 1.5GB RAM, microSD card slot for expansion, 5MP front-facing camera, 8MP main camera, and a 2045mAh removable battery. This one already comes with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and 4G/LTE connectivity. Standard sensors include the following: Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
As expected, no details on availability and pricing yet but we’re guessing it’s going to be a sub $250 phone.
