The LG G5 has got another new feature. An alternative home screen is available that brings back the app drawer experience. The new premium flagship of the other South Korean tech giant comes with a UX 5.0 home screen. Others find this frustrating because the app drawer has been removed. Apps are now kept on the home screen panels so you can easily see them at a glance. However, not everyone is happy with the removal of such feature so LG is bringing the Home 4.0 home screen experience.

LG Home 4.0 is ready for download directly from the LG SmartWorld app you’ll see on your LG G5. This app brings the app drawer back to the home screen the way you’ve always wanted. The panels now can be used for customizations and widgets. It’s up to you how you want your apps to look on the screen–with or without an app drawer.

Meanwhile inside the app drawer, you can also arrange the apps or hide them depending on your preference. If you want a more traditional home screen on your new LG G5, just enable the Home 4.0 but you can also quickly switch to the 5.0 UX is you want a more modern mobile experience. Switch between the two home screen interface and you won’t have any problem.
