We’ve previously reported about LG Canada announcing the arrival of its latest flagship, the LG G2, sometime this fall. Now the Canadian branch of the electronics maker is giving us an exact date for the arrival of the smartphone.
The torrent of device announcements last week might have caused many to forget LG’s latest masterpiece that was unveiled early August, although it’s somewhat hard to forget the G2’s uniquely placed volume and power-slash-camera controls at the back of the device, or its “knock knock” feature to wake the screen up with a simple double tap. Still, if you need some refreshing on what LG’s premium smartphone is all about, you can check out our initial review of the device here.
The LG G2 has just landed on major carriers in the US and, according to LG Canada, will soon be available for Canadian buyers as well. Beginning September 27, the device will be sold on quite a number of carriers and retail stores including Rogers, Bell Mobility, TELUS, Videotron, SaskTel, WIND Mobile, WIRELESSWAVE, Tbooth wireless, WIRELESS etc., Target Mobile, Best Buy, Future Shop, The Source and Mobile shop.
LG has not announced a recommended retail price for the the G2 as the carrier and retail partners will set their own pricing system, which they may tease ahead of the launch date.
