LG recently decided that it would postpone the launch of their latest Android Tablet, which was supposed to be released sometime in the near future. This device was supposed to run Android 2.2 or commonly known as Froyo.

A statement by an LG official was released: “We plan to introduce a table that runs on the most reliable Android version… We are in talks with Google to decide on the most suitable version for our table and that is not Froyo 2.2”. I am not sure how this move will play out for the company since it has yet to release a tablet while many other competing companies have. On another note it is nice to see that they are doing what is in the best interest for the device and not releasing a device that wouldn’t run well with the operating system.
