While most OEMs are busy adding notches and more cameras to their phones, Lenovo has successfully implemented the latest premium mobile processor. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm. You can say it’s the first to be powered by such. It’s even more powerful with 12GB of RAM. You read that right–12GB. That is a lot again considering other brands only start with 6GB for the expensive category. Lenovo definitely knows how to make an impression by going for the most premium specs and features.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is initially expected on the 24th of January but it’s been pushed to the 29th. It will be sold in China with the pre-order opening on January 22 at 10AM.

To review, the phone comes equipped with a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen, 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ pixel resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 16MP and 24MP dual-camera setup (both rear and selfie), Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Dual 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, NFC, PGS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and a 3350mAh battery. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo topped by ZUI 10.

Android 9.0 Pie will be served in the coming weeks. Different variants are available: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB, 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB onboard storage.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will also feature a slider design. This is the premium version of the mid-range Lenovo Z5 Pro that was launched last November.
