Lenovo has been working on a smartphone with full-bezel screen and a small body ratio. A new teaser that shows a phone with a very thin bezel was recently sighted online. There appears no notch so we’re thinking Lenovo doesn’t have any plans to join the notch design bandwagon soon. The screen-to-body ratio is about 95% which is really impressive. The all screen phone may become a reality soon as companies like Lenovo are serious in making that bezel disappear—with or without the notch.

Lenovo VP Chang Cheng shared something on the Chinese Twitter Weibo and posted a teaser of what is said to be the Lenovo Z5.

Yes, we’re calling it the Lenovo Z5. It will be launched as the next-gen premium flagship smartphone from Lenovo that obviously isn’t Motorola-branded. There is no new live photo or press render available, just this sketch of the yet-to-be-unveiled Lenovo Android phone.

We don’t see any notch, chin, or forehead—telling us the device will definitely be almost bezel-less. The phone is also said to feature a metal casing. Don’t expect any glass back panel here though. It appears to be super thin so we’re not sure if there’s an earpiece somewhere. A selfie camera may still be there but could be hidden under the display or it could be a pop-up camera that swivels from the top.

Rumor has it the Lenovo Z5 would be unleashed on June 14. We believe there is truth to this because the VP himself has been dropping hints and information. Let’s wait and see.
