A pair of Lenovo tablets were discovered by way of an FCC filing about a week earlier. At the time the models included the A5500 and A6700. And as of today, another pair of Lenovo tablets have been spotted. This time the details come by way of a Bluetooth SIG filing and the model numbers include the A3300 and the A3500.
We have yet to see anything official from Lenovo in terms of an announcement, however details from the filing suggest these will be 7-inch tablets. The A3300 appears to have a display resolution of 1024 x 600 with a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, VGA quality front-facing camera and a 2 megapixel rear-facing camera.
In terms of the A3500, this one does step up a bit in terms of specs, but it is still far from what would be considered a top-tier device. Details here include a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display and quad-core 1.3GHz processor. Other details for the A3500 include 1GB of RAM, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and 3G connectivity.
Based on the discovery coming from a Bluetooth SIG filing, the belief is both of these models could see a global launch. Otherwise, looking back to the FCC filing that tipped the A5500 and A6700 models and we saw devices that were similar in terms of the hardware specs.
The A5500 was shown with an 8-inch 1280 x 800 display and quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor. This one will also have Dolby Digital Sound, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The A6700 was also detailed with an 8-inch display, though nothing was listed for a resolution. Bottom line here, it looks like Lenovo has a few Android tablets that will soon see an announcement.
