The Snapdragon 820 is presently the fastest processor from Qualcomm. It has powered some of the best smartphones in the market today like the Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5, and the HTC 10. It has a direct rival in Samsung’s Exynos 8890 and Apple’s A9 chip but the Qualcomm chipset will soon be taken over by new ones. The company is poised to launch three: the Snapdragon 830, 828, and 825.
It may take Qualcomm a while to deliver those new processors but we can expect the Snapdragon 823 to displace the S820. It’s new and has yet to be available in smartphones but LeEco managed to “announce” at the last Mobile World Congress that an upcoming model will be powered by it. The new phone is still nowhere to be found and we haven’t heard anything new from Qualcomm yet.
It looks like the smartphone equipped with an S823 will be arriving soon from LeEco. This brand has been around for some time but it’s only becoming popular these days with premium models that are still affordable. The company has set up shop in the US recently so expect it to be more active when it comes to marketing and advertising its products.
A LeEco phone could be the first Snapdragon 823-powered to be announced. Nothing is certain yet but we’re hopeful another one will also be introduced in the market soon. Rumor has it that ASUS will use Snapdragon 823 on a ZenFone 3 Deluxe variant. Of course, we can expect the LG G Flex 3 and the Galaxy Note 6/Note 7 to be powered by the S823 as speculated last April.
We haven’t heard of any timeframe yet but we’re assuming this second half. It won’t happen in 2017 because by then, Qualcomm would be ready with the 825, 828, and 830. Let’s just wait and see.

I love AC but I have to say this article was poorly written and needs some serious editing done.
That said, im excited to see what LeEco does. They are really push the bar!
I have been waiting for the next gen flex ever since the crappy flex 2 came out. I use to owned both flex and flex 2. I can say that I really did like to original flex. It was large enough for me to use a my daily driver. I am a fan of the 6 inch display. I did try the flex 2 out. All tho it was a nice phone I found it to be like every other phone on the market. Nothing special. The only difference was the fact it was curved. Then the G3 came out. The only difference between the Flex 2 and the G3 is the Flex 2 is curved and the G3 was not.
So if by some slim chance that LG does in fact make another 5.5 inch lg flex 3. It shall fall into the same category as all the rest of the smartphones on the market. I was pass on it.
