With a lot of new brands and smartphone models coming out in the market almost every week, it’s hard to be surprised anymore about any of their “revolutionary” features. But if the leaked renders of the upcoming ZUK Z2 is any indication, then we might be in for one, as the images show a single rotating camera, which we haven’t seen in recent times. Already, some are getting excited about this, even though everything is pretty rumor-based at this point.

If you don’t know it yet, the ZUK brand is actually backed by Lenovo and has China as its primary market. Its flagship, the ZUK Z1, has been doing pretty well in its category. So the announcement a few weeks ago by the CEO himself that a ZUK Z2 was coming in 2016 was met with a bit of excitement. And now that some unofficial renders have been leaked, consider us intrigued with this 360 degree rotating camera that is on top of the display. It even has rounded corners making it look even “prettier”.

But aside from this rotating camera that will do away with the concept of the secondary cam, nothing much is revealed with these pictures. It seems that it has a dual side design made from metal and glass. Previous rumors have said that it might run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and just like the ZUK Z1, it is expected to have 64GB internal storage, or maybe even 128GB if they will be upgrading.

Of course all of this is pure speculation right now, and we’d have to wait for the official announcement from ZUK before planning a trip to China in preparation for purchasing the ZUK Z2.
