As the September 29 Google event draws near, expectations as to what will be announced then is getting higher. While we’re expecting an Android Marshmallow preview (given that “tasty treats and much s’more” is the tagline), there isn’t any confirmation yet as to what the other treats will be. But common consensus is that the new generation of Nexus devices will be unveiled, including two new smartphones, one from LG and one from Huawei. Leaked photos now show that the Huawei Nexus will come in four colors.
The rumored name of the Huawei device is the Nexus 6P with the Chinese OEM’s first foray into Google’s Nexus series being the bigger of the two rumored smartphones. A leaked photo now shows that it may come in four different colors: white, black, gold, aluminum/silver. Of course expect that they will be called something else, but those are the actual colors. The gold version may be exclusive to certain markets though. And we can probably expect some other colors later on. Who knows there might be a red or purple one on the horizon.
The Nexus 6P will supposedly have the bigger screen at 5.7-inches and may have a fingerprint scanner as well as biometric security. Since it’s a Google flagship, it may also come with Android Pay, the mobile payment gateway that will try to compete with Apple Pay and even Samsung Pay.
All will be revealed on September 29, including the fact that despite having four colors, the Nexus 6P may probably have similar fronts. Previous leaks have shown a black screen bezel, just like previous Nexus devices.
