Vivo iQOO

A company having a sub-brand is becoming more common than ever. Vivo has the iQOO. It’s a new brand that is believed to deliver a foldable phone. We’re calling the device the iQOO foldable phone. It’s not final and official yet but images of a new device have surfaced on Weibo and MyDrivers. Sources are saying the separate brand will offer phones that are priced above 5000 yuan which is around $730. That means iQOO could be for the premium category.

The new sub-brand from China is expected to introduce a new flagship series. Details are scarce but the images below show a foldable phone. This particular device category is new but we have a feeling it will take off this year.

Other companies like Samsung, Huawei, LG, and Xiaomi are already planning to release their foldable phones. This is the first time we’re hearing about a foldable phone from Vivo so we’re interested.

The iQOO foldable phone folds outward. We’re assuming there is still a hinge at the back to support the flexible display.

Just like the other concept foldable phones we’ve seen, this one transforms from a smartphone to a bigger tablet. We can understand if the iQOO foldable smartphone will be expensive. A working flexible screen is no joke but we know eventually, it will be very common someday.
