It’s been over a year now since Huawei launched the MediaPad M2 as its flagship tablet. It’s about time the top Chinese OEM makes a follow-up and looks like it’s coming really soon as Huawei Mobile confirmed the MediaPad M3 will be available in the United States. Someone asked the official Twitter account of Huawei which then responded that it will be ready and that further information will be provided by their US arm.

We learned earlier this high-end Android tablet will be released but no time frame was given when it was announced during the IFA in Berlin. To review, the media tablet boasts of an 8.4-inch screen, 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor, 4GB RAM, and a whopping 5100mAh battery which can last up to eleven hours on a full charge. There’s also the Harman Kardon-certified dual stereo speakers and AKG earbuds packaged with the tablet.

Pricing of the MediaPad M3 may begin at around $390 or €350 in Europe. That’s also for the 32GB WiFi variant. There’s also the LTE model with the same storage capacity and 64GB WiFi or LTE model with higher price tags ($448 to over $500). Interestingly, there’s no microSD card slot offered in any of the variants.
