To our surprise, we saw Andy Rubin pull out a Motorola Android 3.0 based tablet at the D: Dive Into Mobile conference on Monday. However, the video that was released showed the device, but it’s not the high-res goodness we would appreciate, that has all changed with photographer Asa Mathat posting some high-resolution photos of the device from the conference.
The images reveal some interesting information about the device that we will for sure be seeing at CES this year. The device appears to have both a front and back-facing camera, with the back camera sporting a dual-LED flash, volume rocker hard keys and it’s incredibly thin.
This is certainly looking to be the true iPad rival, and we couldn’t be more excited about the Motorola “Everest” coming to market early next year.
