There are still a few days let in the Summer Olympics and the Paralympics games will begin shortly after. Rio has been a hotbed of activities for the past weeks or so and will continue to do so until all the games end. HERE 360 navigation app has been providing official assistance to the games’ travel fleet and now, they are opening up the detailed Venue Maps of the various stadiums as more people continue to troop to the city to catch the last few days of the games.

The HERE WeGo app, available for Android devices, gives you access to detailed maps of the 32 stadiums that are being used for the Olympics. You’ll also be able to see what are the events going on in each particular venue, just in case you didn’t know it yet. The app supports automative and pedestrian routing and public transportation as well. This is especially useful in Rio as an estimated 90% of the spectators will actually be using public transport to go from one venue to another.

Another feature in the app is that it’s able to give you end-to-end routing, which not only involves going to the venue but actually getting to your seat, literally. You can start your route from the current area you’re sitting in, for example a synchronized swimming event, to your reserved seats in the track and field stadium for the long jump competition. The HERE Mobile SDK meanwhile, for developers of course, is able to display 2D and 3D models, so users will be able to pan, tilt, and search for the venues.

The Rio maps are available for download in the HERE app. There are also over 14,000 venue maps in 87 different countries that can be at your fingertips when you get the app.
