Of all the latest mobile payment services introduced, Android Pay is perhaps one of the more widely used. There are more Android devices all over the world compared to iPhones that use Apple Pay and this year’s premium Galaxy phones that use Samsung Pay. LG also recently entered the game with the LG Pay.

Android Pay is simply a rebranded Google Wallet. To make it more enticing to use, Google introduced a special promo that benefits a good cause: special education. Every purchase using Android Pay, Google will donate one dollar (up to $1 million) to the 6.4 million children with special needs part of the US education system.

Google.org partnered with DonorsChoose.org to extend support to the children and the projects they are part of. It’s definitely the season of giving as the tech giant is doubling their donation for purchases made this November 27 during the Black Friday madness. We know how everyone can get crazy shopping so why not do it for a special cause?

All holiday purchases made with Android Pay will  be more meaningful this season. So for this year, giving can be easier. Just shop, tap and pay, then give. Shopaholics will find this another reason to do more shopping because you know, it’s for a good cause.

Android Pay is now accepted in more than one million locations in the United States. When you see the two logos below, that means you can just tap your phone to pay. Every single transaction, Google will give a dollar. It’s that easy.

Note that Google is void or prohibited in some states like Alabama, Hawaii, Illinois, Mississipi, Massachusetts, and South Carolina. This special promo and donation will run between November 24 and December 31, 2015 only. Google will give $2 on November 27 and the rest of the period, one dollar for every purchase to Donorschoose.org up to a total of $1 million.

As early as now, the teachers and the children with specials needs say “Thank you” for shopping with Android Pay.
