We haven’t been hearing much about Google Nexus recently. We don’t have any idea if the tech giant will be showing off a new model at the upcoming Google I/O but we know it’s not going away anytime soon. The last update we heard was the ‘My Live Case’ for the Nexus phone and the Nexus 5X getting a Cool color temperature toggle. The Nexus 6P also received an update last March.

While waiting for the next Nexus phone offering, the available Nexus models can take advantage of the latest factory images. Usually, you need to flash them using the ‘unloc buked bootloader’. That’s about to change now as Google already started to deliver full OTA images for all Nexus devices. Just sideload them with adb in recovery and you can see the full OTA images. No need to wait for the updates to roll out in batches because Google has released everything for every Nexus phone owner to enjoy.

Google Nexus OTA Images for Nexus

One important change you will notice is that you have to agree to the terms and conditions first before you can get the links to the OTAs or factory images. Perhaps Google wants to learn more about a Nexus user’s activities and information more. All these and more are good news for the avid Nexus fans who earlier saw the changes in full OTA with the Android N preview.

Don’t worry about the privacy and security being a problem and keeping the bootloader locked because Google made sure it is secure.
