Day 13 of August may mean unlucky for some people but for avid Samsung fans and Android geeks, it’s the day when the new Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 will be unveiled after months of waiting, rumors, and leaked images. Tomorrow, we’ll finally know if the Note 5 comes with a new S-Pen and how the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus’ curved screen looks when it’s bigger than 5.1 inches–probably at 5.7-inches.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (Edge+) will definitely be an extra-large Galaxy S6 edge. If you think the S6 edge’s specs are already high, the Edge Plus’ specs will even be higher. Rumor has it that similar to the S6 edge’s ‘People Edge’ feature of saving five favorite contacts on the edge of the screen, the Edge Plus will it have another page that can display a user’s five fave apps.

Another update to the People Edge is the addition of the ‘OnCircle’ that brings six shortcuts to a favorite contact instead of just three. On the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, you’ll be able to see shortcuts for calling, messaging, video chatting, emailing, sending an emotion, and sending a photo.

We’ll see tomorrow how true is this bit of information we just learned. The Samsung Unpacked event will happen tomorrow, August 13, in New York City. No word when the new phablets will be ready for shipping but it should be sooner than soon.
