Flickr app for Android was recently updated with a new design to look more like it’s your phone’s native camera roll. This way, Flickr users are encouraged to upload a lot of photos instead of just choosing a few to share on the app. What makes Flickr still one of the best photo sharing sites is the fact that it offers free 1TB of storage for every user.

If you allow Flickr to automatically upload your photos, they are set in private as default but you can always change privacy settings to share in public. Photos are shown in a new timeline view and they are grouped by date for easy viewing, searching, and organization. There are editing tools available so you can change the contrast, exposure, and saturation. Feel free to show your creativity by editing photos, cropping images, adding filters, and more.

From Flickr, you can now directly share photos to Instagram. No need to reupload photos when you want to share something on another app, just connect the two apps. Flickr wants to be your default photo sharing app and not just as a social network.
