If you are one of the millions of people around the world who are obsessed with the beautiful game (no, it’s not golf), football, then whenever a mobile game comes out that brings you closer to the real thing, then this is something to always look forward to. This autumn, FIFA is set to launch a new mobile game simply called FIFA Mobile, which is combination of gaming and social experience for players and includes more than 600 teams in play from all around the world.

For the gaming part of the mobile app, you get turn-based matches where you get to compete with another player. The social aspect of the game comes in when you can team up with other gamers from around the world and compete in championships or join leagues and compete against players in other leagues. There are also mini games that you can play in where you can receive tokens to redeem game packs and other game characters.

The app also has live events from the footballing world so that you can be updated with all the goings on about leagues, players, teams, etc. There are 30 leagues around the world that you can participate in, plus 650 teams and 17,000 players available for you to play around with.

By the time this game rolls around, it will be between September – December and everyone will be in the middle of European football fever, so people may want even more football-related apps and games. No news yet if it will be a free or freemium or paid model, but if the game is as good as advertised, fans won’t mind either way.
