If you’re a brand that relies on your Facebook Page for a lot of your sales, marketing, and branding efforts or if you’re a social media manager that takes care of a lot of pages, then you know that Facebook Analytics is your best friend. And while it’s easy to access it when you’re on your desktop, mobile is another story. That’s why it’s a pleasant surprise that they have now launched a mobile app that will make it easy for you to access all your insights, metrics, and reports.

What the app basically does is it lets you “stay on top of your growth, engagement, and conversion efforts on the go.” This is important especially if you’re more than just about new followers, likes, and interactions and you want to go deeper into looking at your key metrics and reports and automated insights for all your page properties, like your app, website, bot, events, groups, etc. With the app, you can create a custom mobile view for your reports in certain metrics like active users, revenue, retention, demographics, and events.

Facebook now has a tricky relationship with businesses who use their platform for marketing and publishing. Mark Zuckerberg announced a few weeks ago that they were changing the algorithms to prioritize “real people” updates on your news feeds, in response to criticism that businesses and publishers are taking over our timelines (and not always for the best). That kind of left brands out in the cold, but maybe this is a step towards fixing that fractured relationship.

You can download Facebook Analytics from the Google Play Store for free. However, the automated insights part is still in beta and may not yet be available for all businesses in several countries.
