Specs for the HTC Evo 3D and Evo View 4G have been leaked before their much hyped unveiling at CTIA. The EVO 4G will run the 1.2 Ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, have a 4.3″ qHD 3D display, dual rear facing 5 MP camera for recording full 1080p HD video, and a 1.3 MP front facing chat camera for video chat. The Evo 3D will support 4G/WiMax and will have a beefy 1730 mAh battery. The autostereoscopic 3D display will show images at 860 x 540 but will output 1080p via HDMI out, 720p for 3D video.

As for the EVO View 4G, also known as the HTC Flyer, sports a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon CPU, but it runs single core. It has a monster inch touch sensitive screen which shows video at 1024×768 resolution. It uses the same dual cameras that the Evo 3D has for HD recording and video chat, and 32GB of Internal storage. IT will also support 4G/WiMax as well as have full 802.11 b-n WiFi support, HDMI out, and Bluetooth. Both will run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and have the Sense UI overlay.

What’s really cool is that the Evo 3D will feature a glasses-free 3D experience thanks to it’s autostereoscopic 3D display. It will be able to shoot 3D video and images to be uploaded to YouTube 3D and Blockbuster 3D with applications out of the box. Both will be available through Sprint. Look for them to be featured with great hype at CTIA next week.

    “I know there was some flak on the recent GLBenchmarks and we caught hell for it around here as well. I just wanted to let you know that fit and finish on that has been polished out. Memory allocation was only single set data stream and we have now been able to utilize duel data stream with a bump in memory clock speeds. I guess you could use the analogy of SDRAM compared to DDRAM.
    Scorpion chip set is very OC friendly; I can’t say what we were able to overclock the cpu’s to. Please no question on that one. I can say that we were able to almost double our GLbench scores with just the memory fix though.”

    “@L8AGIN BGR was close but not quite. There is a twist on how things work inside and hence the lack luster/accidental posting of GLbenchmarks. It is std affair 1gig RAM and 4gig ROM, with cavet. Depending on the needs of the 2nd processor and software applications 4gig ROM will act like RAM. This takes a bit of hardware/software trickery, but it is working. Clock speeds can’t discuss, but this too has proven to be OC friendly. I guess you could look at as tri-channel memory like a higher end tri channel memory configuration in a WinVista/Intel 1366DDRAM setup. 1gig RAM will stay Dual Channel, Until the need for Tri-Channel then ROM becomes RAM. So while they will be classified as 4gigs of ROM, Physically speaking there really RAM Silicon. This is a first in the industry, but saves alot on real estate this way. Hope that helps to clear that up. Good luck to a blogsite trying to describe it. It’s new hear, but really cool, and pretty sensible.

    • you may be right since Guillermo’s link below speaks of a kickstand. I was not really expecting the pics here to be exact but i’m sure it is not far from the real thing. I bet the look will be similar to the old one.

I WANT MY EVO 3d ! i got the original evo the day it came out – ditching t-mobile when they left g1 users behind- now I see i made the right switch and know of at least one friend looking at Spring now. I just sent him info on this 3d version coming out- Spring is being good- i’ll be interested in upgrade from orig. evo ! yes! score! Specs are right on ! (camera is only 5mp but 1080p!! nice) only thing I see missing is my kickstand.. maybe a nice case can take care of that.
