Dropbox PDF Viewer

One of the most used apps today that are regularly being updated is the Dropbox for Android. Just last month, the development team allowed users to open shared links right on the app. This was rolled out quickly after the Dropbox for Gmail beta was released. The latest change to the productivity app is a PDF viewer. It’s something I personally have long been waiting for and glad it’s finally available.

All PDFs saved on Dropbox can now be previewed on the app. No need to go out and use another PDF viewer. Even when you’re offline, you can view the PDF files and continue your reading or work.

If you want to share the file, you can easily do so by simply clicking on the ‘Share’ button you see on the screen. A link will automatically be copied for sharing. And once you share PDFs, they will be saved on the ‘Sent files’ folder for future access.

This particular app update for the Android version also includes in-document search. You can now search for Word documents, PowerPoint files, and PDFs inside. Search for a particular keyword and you will be shown a list of possible documents you need containing a word or phrase. Click on the item to go to straight to the document.
