As if the yet to be unannounced DROID 2 Global could get any more press time, it has now been spotted in magazine advertisements. As mentioned in the magazine advertisement here, it was mentioned alongside the Droid Pro and Droid X as part of Verizon’s holiday DROID lineup.

The DROID 2 Global will be the device that replaces the DROID 2 with it’s main difference being it’s worldwide communication chip for use in other markets. The Global version of the Droid 2 also comes equipped with a faster 1.2Ghz processor, as opposed to the 1Ghz chip on the original model.

Other specs confirmed include a 5 megapixel with dual LED flash, flash 10.1 support, 8GB of internal storage, SD card slot, 3G Mobile hotspot, and will come in two colors – Dark Sapphire or Winter White.
