The issue between OnePlus and Cyanogen in India is almost over. OnePlus is still in the business and is expected to launch the OnePlus 2 anytime soon while Cyanogen is working on to solidify partnerships with other brands. This week, Cyanogen has proudly announced the Andromax Q. Obviously, it’s a new Android phone powered by Cyanogen OS. This smartphone was first launched in Indonesia via Smartfren, a popular telecom provider in Indonesia.

The ANDROMAX Q comes equipped with a 4.5-inch TFT LCD display screen, FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels), 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, 2000 mAH battery, and 4G/LTE connectivity. Smartphone runs Cyanogen OS 12 which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

ANDROMAX Q is about $111. That makes it a very budget-friendly smartphone. If you’re not familiar with Cyanogen OS, don’t be confused as it’s just Android 5.0 Lollipop with minor customizations. The phone is ready in Indonesia although we’re not sure when this 4G LTE Android smartphone will be officially released in Indonesia and other markets. Smartfen boasts of a strong and reliable LTE coverage so you can always stay connected to 4G LTE for all your mobile browsing needs.
