Anyone that has been waiting for more tablet options than the iPad to hit the market will be glad to hear that Creative has unveiled its new Ziio tablets in London. The new tablets are offered in 7-inch and 10-inch screen sizes and have some nice features.
The 7-inch tablet has a white body and the 7-inch screen has resistive touch and a resolution of 480 x 800. The processor is the ZiiLabs ZMS-08 unit and it has Android Pure Audio tech that is based on the Creative X-Fi sound solutions. The Os for the tablet is Android 2.1 and the device has WiFi inside. Other features include an internal speaker, HD vide output, an accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, a microSD card port, a miniUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The tablet supports tons of media formats and weighs 400 grams. The model 10 has the same basic features with a black body, a 10-inch 1024 x 768 resolution screen, and a weighs 650g. The 7-inch tablet in 8GB capacity is 229 euros and in 16GB flavor it costs 259 euros. The larger 10-inch tablet will cost 289 euros in 8GB and 391 euros in 16GB version. Both should launch next month.
