While there are already a lot of comic book readers that you can use on your Android device, CDisplayEx was a favorite among those comic book fans who read on their Windows computers. Now the app is finally available for your smartphone or tablet with all the features that make it one of the most popular readers in its original platform. There is a free version and also a paid version but it looks like for now, the features are still the same for both, probably as an initial offer.

CDisplayEx is basically like the other comic book readers you’ve probably been using. It supports the most popular formats like .cbr, .cbz, a folder of images, and even experimental support for pdf. What makes it a bit different is its color correction feature where you can change your comic book’s white balance, vibrance, and colors according to your preference and your device’s display.

You can transfer your files to your phone or tablet and then read them on the app. Or you can also use the app’s integrated samba and FTP network shares to grab your comics wherever they are saved. The app will then group the comics by series and arrange your collection into a visual library. You can favorite your, well, favorites, and the search function within is also pretty great.

You can download CDisplayEx Comic Reader for free from the Google Play Store. There is a $5.99 version with supposedly more advanced features, but it looks like they’re also available in the free version for now so better download and install it now.
