The latest smartphone from the company is the BLU Studio Energy which was first shown off at the CES earlier in January. The device impressed Las Vegas with its 5,000mAh battery that allows the phone to last up to 45 days on standby mode and four days on standard usage.
The BLU Studio Energy is available on Amazon exclusively for only $149.00. Its battery is not the only one that makes it a winner. Its 10mm design makes it one beautiful and sleek phone. I wouldn’t exactly call 10mm sleek. 45 day standby is cool though.
I wish phone makers wold double the thickness and make the battery life 3x instead of this ridiculous race to the thinnest. It’s stupid. Give me a battery that will last all day with wifi gps blue tooth, mobile data always on and cpu up to max and I won’t care if it’s 20 mm think.
Even the iPhone 6 plus is so thin it will bend if you sit on it.
I don’t know about double the thickness, but I agree that the thin race is pretty stupid. I think they should be investing their research in a new battery tech like graphene to make more potent batteries. Then we can still have our normal thickness phones but still get a few days of battery life. Then people like you who don’t care if their phone weighs 400 grams can get the extended battery or battery cases. Best of both worlds eh?
