AT&T customers who have been drooling over this smartphone need not hold their breath any longer. The carrier has now officially made the Motorola Moto X available in its online store and outlets nationwide.
Motorola unveiled its latest flagship early this month, parading a number of interesting features. With a 4.7-inch HD display, 2 GB of RAM and dual-core Snapdragon S4, the Moto X doesn’t sound much of a powerhouse. The secret, however, lies in it’s X8 Computing System which delivers features like the always-on voice-enabled Touchless Control and the Active Display notifications without causing too much battery drain. Word got out that the Moto X will be arriving on all US carriers by August 23, which AT&T confirmed last week. AT&T has delivered on that promise today and the Moto X is now ready for purchase. Unfortunately, the Moto Maker customization site seems to be unavailable at the moment, though it will probably go up soon. For, only the black and white color options are available.
The Moto X sells for $199.99 with a two-year contract and $449.99 for a one-year contract. However, these prices only apply for the 16 GB model as the 32 GB variant doesn’t seem to be available yet. Now to wait and see if the other carriers who are also expected to make the Moto X available today will follow suit.
