Here we go. It’s time for another ASUS ZenFone variant. We know the company’s marketing strategy of rolling out several versions of its ZenFone flagship phone each year. So far, we’ve seen the standard model, Laser, Deluxe with 64GB, and Deluxe with 256GB. Before the ZenFone 4 is teased early next year, Amazon has released the ASUS ZenFone 3 MAX.
This MAX model boasts of the following: a 5.2-Inch HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 75% screen-to-body ratio, 400 nits of brightness, MediaTek Quad-Core processor, 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, 4100 mAh battery, Dual camera setup with 5MP and 13MP cameras, and fingerprint sensor that allows camera activation. The huge battery offers long hours (max of 18 hours) of mobile web browsing while connected to WiFi. Smartphone also features a pair of SIM card slats for the Nano SIM-MicroSD card and another for one Micro SIM.
The ZenFone 3 MAX actually comes in three other models: 2GB RAM with 16GB Storage, 2GB RAM with 32GB Storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage. Pricing is set at $149, $199, and $299–all mid-range affordable. The Android phone is now listed on Amazon which probably means it is unlocked and that it can work with most mobile networks in the United States such as T-Mobile and AT&T.
