ASUS has announced a ton of new lifestyle and gaming innovations at the ongoing Computex 2016 trade show in Taiwan. The whole gamut of the showcase includes motherboards, gaming monitors, a curved display, and all other gadgets that will be available later this year for both manufacturers and consumers. The Taiwanese OEM has made its name in not just consumer products like smartphones and tablets, but also for wireless solutions, storage devices, and other accessories. Two of those announced are the Travelair AC 2 flash drive and the ZenDrive U8M DVD writer.

The ASUS Travelair AC 2 is not just a storage drive for your files that can fit in your palm but also brings you dual-band connectivity and even the ability to juice up your mobile devices. You’ll be able to store your files and then transfer them through various supported mobile devices. It also has ultra-fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi that gives you 3x the speed of wireless storage devices. And it has a built-in 3300mAh battery so you can give your mobile devices almost 12 hours of power.

The ASUS ZenDrive U8M is the new generation ultra-slim DVD writer that ASUS has been releasing the past years. This model can be hooked up to your smartphone through a cable connection so you can directly back up your files onto a CD/DVD. You can also play audio CDs through this DVD writer, if you still have any left, that is.

There are no price and availability details available yet for any of the announced products. But we will probably know more about them in the coming months.
