Acer has pulled the wraps off a new smartphone that runs Android called the beTouch E210. The machine runs Android 2.2 Froyo and it has a full QWERTY keyboard and an optical trackpad. The smartphone has a 2.6-inch touch screen.

The phone measures 115 x 62.5 x 11.5mm and it weighs 109g. The battery inside is a 1300mAh unit and it operates on HSDPA/HSUPA 900/2100 or 850/1900Mhz networks and GSM/EDGA networks at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. The smartphone has a ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor at 416MHz.

It also has 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM and features a 3.2MP camera. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a microSD card slot, micro-USB port, 3.5mm headphone port, and a FM receiver. The smartphone will come in silver and black with pricing TBA. It will hit the UK on March 11.
