The S7 tablet from Huawei hasn’t necessarily been high on people’s radars, but that could be because it keeps disappearing into the unknown from time to time. Last seen back at Computex earlier in the month, it’s good to see that it’s back, and in the best capacity it could be: for sale. That’s right, if you’re a lucky enough to be across the pond, or want to import something, then you can order your very own 7-inch capacitive touchscreen tablet, running Android 2.1, with a screen resolution of 800 x 480.
As for what’s under the hood, you can expect to be zipping around the Android platform thanks to the 768MHz processor. It also features 3G connectivity, WiFi, and GPS, which we’ve all come to expect on anything Android-based. If you’re interested, get ready to drop £299 thanks to Expansys (the online retailer), and be prepared to wait 10 days for the tablet to ship. That’s not too long at all, but it takes a lot of willpower for us to buy anything we can’t play with immediately. We’re shallow like that. Let us know if you’re planning on picking one up, or if you’re waiting for something else on the horizon.
