Sling Media have launched a pre-registration page for those Android users who’d like access to the Android version of the SlingPlayer app as soon as it’s available. The app – the beta of which we tested last month – allows Sling users to view their streamed TV and DVR content across WiFi or 3G networks.
Sling haven’t yet said exactly how long it will be before the app is released, and nor have they confirmed what sort of price will be attached. The iPhone version of SlingPlayer retails for around $30, but Sling will likely push out a limited beta of the Android client for bug testing before it goes on sale.
