The wait is finally over and everyone can now head out and buy their very own DROID Bionic. Like always you can buy it at Verizonwireless.com and in stores starting today for $299. For those that don’t need the Bionic in their hands right this minute Amazon has done what they’ve done many times before and are undercutting Verizon by $100.
Before we go any further check out my epic DROID Bionic hands-on video. Then do your thing and go buy it from Amazon instead because they are offering the brand new released just today DROID Bionic 4G LTE smartphone for $199 with a new 2-year contract. You’ll have to wait for it to get delivered but we’ve waiting like 6 months, what is 2-3 more days.
With a dual-core, 4G LTE, a bright and crisp 4.3″ qHD display and the latest Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread this is basically as good as it gets for a while. I don’t know how long this deal will last, or supplies for that matter but you better hurry because I’m sure many are ordering it as we speak. Otherwise your local Verizon Wireless store should have plenty. Let us know if you buy the Bionic, and if so tell us what you think in the comments below. Thanks for the tip, Doug!
Update: it appears now that some customers are seeing the device come up as $179 – what a deal!

If you are starting a NEW VzW account, then you can get it for $179. If you are upgrading an existing line or adding another line to an existing FamilyShare plan, it is $250, at least in my zip code (MD).
I have noticed that every where I looked. Seems like if you have the $30 unlimited data they want to soak you for every dollar they can. New customers pay $50-$80 for there data. No loyalty for returning customers. If the $30 unlimited data were not there I’d be off to a different carrier.
