We’ve got wind of a leaked roadmap of CDMA devices for the handset market here in the USA, and a couple of them are rather high-class Android devices we’re SURE you’re going to want to hear about. Both of them are said to be coming out in the third quarter – this version being July through September – and will include two new versions of older very successful models. The first is the Samsung Epic 2. Everyone knows the cool sweetness of the original – this one’s going to be ever so slightly better in just a couple o’ ways. Then there’s a “full touch 4G” device, whatever that means, coming from Samsung. Can you guess what it might be?
First let’s talk a little bit more about the Samsung Epic 2. The original device you can get a real good look at on SlashGear in the original Epic 4G Review by Vince. Then come back here and listen to this: the new model is said to be carrying a 4-inch display, a 1.2GHz single-core Hummingbird processor almost certainly along the lines of the rest of the 1.2 GHz processor carrying Samsung devices of late, plus a lovely 8-megapixel camera on the back. The improvements, therefor, lie in the processor grabbing an extra .2 and the camera on the back adding a few megapixels.
Then there’s that “full touch 4G” device. By now you’ve got to guess that it’s time for every carrier on the landscape to be clamoring for the ultimate bad-mother, the Samsung Galaxy S II, a review of which you can grab from our man in England, Chris Davies, in the post you’ll find at the top of your Google results when you search “Galaxy S II review”. There’s not a whole lot more information on this one to connect with other than the factoid from a few weeks ago that pointed toward several carriers getting this device: Attain – Function – Within. Thusly, god willing, we shall have that ultra super power soon.
What do you think – the Galaxy S II this close to arrival, will you be waiting for it or grabbing one of the other fabulous devices we’ve reviewed of late?

Its a hard choice. Im about to pick up an infuse based solely on the 4.5″ Samoled screen. I loves me that screen. But the superior SGS2 comes with 4.3 which is only slightly smaller and supposedly better. What to do!
I was really looking forward to Epic 2 but after reading this.. its only slightly different from Epic 4G.. its like an Epic 4G remake.. -_-
duh!!!! Thats why its the epic2. people…………..
