The Sony Xperia XZ4 specs were leaked on Weibo just before the year 2018 ended. Image renders of the Compact variant were soon made public. We’ve also seen a tempered film that illustrated the 21:9 aspect ratio display. Future phone cases also showed up on Mobile Fun and then Sony MWC 2019 press invites recently surfaced online. We know February will be another busy month for most in the Android community and mobile industry watchers because of all the devices that will be introduced.
As for Sony, we’re looking forward to its MWC announcement because we know it’s been doing major changes in the business. The next-gen Xperia flagship device will be announced and we’re almost certain it is the Xperia XZ4.
The phone may roll out in Japan first as the summer phone offering from Softbank, Au, and Docomo. We’re wondering about the timing of the announcement because the interval between a February launch and a summer release is kind of long.
A new table that contains the specs of the Sony Xperia XZ4 has leaked. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.5-inch OLED screen with 3360 × 1440 QHD+ resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 6GB RAM, 128GB onboard storage, micro SD card slot (up to 512GB expansion), 128GB onboard storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and a 4400 mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia XZ4 will run on Android 9.0 Pie and will be out in different colors–Silver, Blue, Black, and Deep Purple. Let’s wait and see for the official announcement.
