As early as October, we’ve been seeing images of the Moto G7. Most of them are rendered images showing dual rear shooters and a teardrop notch. Some details and live images of the G7 Play variant have appeared on the FCC so we know the Moto G7 series is real. Lenovo-Motorola isn’t skipping the ‘7’ because there is no reason. And recently, more images and pricing details have been published. We just saw a new set of Moto G7 live images that confirm a few things.
For one, the Motorola Moto G7 will sport a notch. Specifically, a waterdrop notch design will be implemented. We know the phone will also have dual rear cameras.
The live images below show the familiar design Motorola has been using the past few years. At first glance, you will know it’s a Motorola phone.
Don’t expect a bezel-less display because the chin and forehead are obviously NOT thin. The round camera module is still there but instead of one, we see two sensors and a dual LED flash system.
The Moto G7 comes in Red and Black. These are only two but we can expect other colors will be
available.
Specs of the Moto G7 we know so far: 6.24-inch IPS LCD screen, 2270×1080 pixel resolution, 3GB RAM/4GB, 12 MP + 5 MP dual rear cameras, 8MP selfie camera, waterdrop notch, Qualcomm Octa core Snapdragon 660 chipset (or 632), 32GB onboard storage, 3000 mAh battery with Turbo Charging, and USB Type-C port. Price may start at Rs. 14,990 when it’s released on February 6, 2019 (still a rumor). Dimenasions will be 157×75.3×7.92mm and 172g. It will run Android 9.0 Pie at launch.
