So many new things from OPPO will be announced. We can expect a device with the newly-announced 10x Lossless Zoom. An invitation was posted on Twitter over the weekend with a #GetCloser hashtag. That particular hint may be referring to the new zoom technology because you know, a zoom lens allows the camera to “get closer” to an object. If Samsung has the Unpacked 2019, Chinese OEM OPPO is having its OPPO 2019 INNOVATION EVENT. It will be held on February 23, 2019, Saturday, 14:00 to 15:40 (Barcelona Time, CET) at the Sofia Hotel, Placa de Pius XII, 4, 08028 Barcelona, Spain.
OPPO’s 10x Lossless Zoom technology was unveiled a couple of days ago so we have an idea what the next OPPO smartphone will be all about. The phone will be camera-centric as with most of the premium flagships today.
The 10x lossless zoom technology is going commercial. It will be showcased by OPPO at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona a few days after Samsung’s announces the Galaxy S10 Series. Not that OPPO and Samsung are direct rivals but we’re interested as to how OPPO’s next flagship, we’re assuming the OPPO F19, will fare against the Samsung Galaxy S10.
If you may remember, the OPPO F19 early design sketches revealed the 10x lossless zoom tech. We said the latter was launching soon.
The new technology offers 10x zoom enabled by a triple camera system. Obviously, this means the next OPPO phone will have three cameras.
The system includes Ultra Wide Angle + Ultra Clear Master + Telephoto. With all the cameras and the new zoom tech, we can expect excellent quality long-distance shots, a 15.9mm focal range, and a better wide-angle viewfinder. A dual OIS optical image stabilization is also expected on the telephoto and standard cams.
