The Nokia X was an old phone from 2014. It ran Android OS and we even got our hands on one. It was soon followed by the Nokia X2 and the Nokia XL. You may have forgotten about it but Nokia X pre-orders topped one million in China. The phone was relatively a success but the last we heard from it since 2014 was last year when we learned the device could dual boot to another ROM with the DualBootPatcher. In April, we heard about a Nokia X mystery phone could launch as a reboot.
The phone was teased and this week, we’ve got new details about the mysterious Nokia X. We’re not sure if this is a Nokia X but the model TA-1099 has its specs confirmed on TENAA. We have a feeling this smartphone will be launched anytime soon in China. Another rumor has it the phone could be launched as the Nokia X6 and may feature a notch according to some leaked renders.
The Nokia X (model TA-1099) is listed with the following specs: a 5.8-inch LCD screen, 2280 × 1080 pixel resolution, 1.8GHz Snapdragon 636 Octa-core processor, 32GB or 64GB onboard storage, up to 128GB storage expansion via microSD card slot, dual 16MP cameras, 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM, VoLTE support, and a 3000mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS. Color options may include Black, Blue, and Silver White.
