Nothing much to say here but the Android 7.0 Nougat OS is coming to the Axon 7. ZTE’s latest bestselling flagship smartphone is getting the much-awaited software update from Marshmallow. We don’t really care much about Chinese-made devices getting the platform updated but this is ZTE AXON 7, a model that boasts of high-end specs but with mid-range pricing and has since reached the United States last July in time for Summer.
The Axon 7 is even getting a Mini version so you know it’s a really popular line. The Android Nougat update will be released sometime in January as it’s still being tested for possible errors and bugs.
We don’t have information yet but since this is the chunky Nougat, we can assume that the Axon 7 will receive the same Android 7.0 enhancements like emoji and multi locale language settings, multi window view, quick switch between apps, VulKan API, VR mode, Doze on the Go mode, Notification Direct Reply, Bundled Notification, File Based Encryption, and Direct Boot among others.
With Android Nougat, expect the ZTE Axon 7’s performance, battery and data, productivity, notifications, system usability, privacy and security, device setup and migration, and accessibility will be greatly improved with all the new features we just mentioned.
