LG boasts of being the first OEM to release an official Android 7.0 Nougat device. The LG V20 has beaten the Pixel series for being the first “chunky” device and now another LG phone is getting the same treatment. In South Korea, LG has began releasing Android 7.0 for the G5 and will soon release the same in other countries.
From Marshmallow to Nougat, the LG G5 is getting a significant mobile OS update which delivers new features and enhancements like in-app search, Multi-window support, smarter notifications, and more personalized settings. Multi-window particularly allows a user to open two apps at the same time and switch between them while open side by side on the screen.
LG aims to deliver the latest in software and mobile experience to customers. It’s one of the tech companies that bring software updates earlier than its competitors. This only proves they are committed to their customers in making sure that “they have a positive ownership experience” all the time.
We know this is bound to happen since other companies have already announced they are prepping Android 7.0 Nougat for the LG G5. For one, there’s Optus getting the Nougat update. We don’t know when it will be available for the LG G4 but we know it’s being tested for the LG G3 already.
