The summer travel bonus T-Mobile announced a few months ago will be extended. Actually, the Un-Carrier is even expanding the offer to other regions so more people will be able to take advantage of unlimited data for such a minimal price. The deal is for the loyal customers who want to have access to high-speed data even when they are traveling abroad.
If you are a T-Mobile postpaid subscriber, the offer is enabled by default. When you’re going abroad, roaming will be enabled automatically. If you may remember, T-Mobile earlier extended its special offer of unlimited, talk, text, and data for Rio Olympics travellers in Brazil to cover Paralympic games.
The summer offering has been widely used by T-Mobile users with data usage tripling this July and August. The promo is extended to more South American and European countries. It’s only a limited offer but one that will go on until next year.
T-Mobile post-paid account holders from the US can all use the free high-speed data if they’re going to South America or Europe. It’s another Un-Carrier move that will let travelers enjoy and be worry-free in using their smartphones for calls and data.
Countries in South America where the promo is available include: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuala among others. In Europe, there are now 19 destinations including Armenia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, and Sweden.
