Here’s another set of information about the upcoming Pixel phones. We’ve recently heard about the possible pricing and saw some rendered images. Now we’ve got photos of the actual phones placed side-by-side. We have no idea were these images came from but it is actually the first time we’re seeing them not as concepts, illustrations, or renders but as real phones.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL boast of an aluminium metal finish, rear fingerprint sensor, and big bezels. The sensor layout is the same as we’ve seen before. There’s not much difference between the Pixel and Pixel XL based on the photos except for the size.

We’ve been saying that the Pixel will have a 5-inch screen while the Pixel XL will have 5.5-inches. We know these two will also run Android 7.0 Nougat but unlike the past years, they’re not the first Android phones to be powered by the newest mobile OS. For this year, the LG G5 came out first as the first Nougat phone. At first, we said it would be the first non-Nexus Android 7.0 phone but as it turned out, it’s actually the first Android Nougat-powered device ever to be introduced in the market.

Interestingly, a mystery smartphone was spotted in the latest Nest commercial. Well, the white mobile phone used to check the Nest cam display looks a lot like the devices above. Notice the front layout and the holes. We just can’t say if this is the Pixel or the Pixel XL.

We’re expecting the new Pixel devices will be formally announced this coming October which is only a few weeks from today. Let’s just wait and see.
