We’ve been eagerly awaiting the actual release of the Samsung Gear IconX wireless Bluetooth earbuds ever since they started talking about it and last week, it finally dropped together with the new Gear VR through AT&T. But if you prefer to do your shopping over at a certain online retail giant, this unique audio accessory is also now available through Amazon. It’s not the cheapest of earbuds though, but if you have extra to spare, critics are saying this should be worth the couple of hundred bucks that you need to pay to get them into your ears.

The Gear IconX has a lot of selling points if you’re looking for audio accessories that are more than just things you stick in your ears to hear music. For one thing, it has an internal storage of 4GB so you can store around 1,000 audio files and you don’t even need to bring your phone when you’re working out or doing a fitness activity. It is also water-resistant so you don’t have to worry about a little rain or a lot of sweat short circuiting your ear buds.

You also have a built-in heart-rate sensor so you can log your cardiovascular system details and you will also be able to track your distance, speed, duration, heart rate, and calories burned and sync them with your S Health app on your phone, without necessarily having to bring your phone when you’re running or biking or whatever it is you do to keep fit. So really, it is a music player and fitness accessory rolled into one. And one of the best things is that there are no wires at all to interfere or get entangled with.

The Gear IconX Bluetooth earbuds are now available for purchases through Amazon for $199.99. You can choose from black, white, or blue and of course it comes with the US version warranty as well.
