The Microsoft Flow will certainly remind you of IFTTT and another of Microsoft’s many projects like the Conditional Action Programmer. We heard about the new app last month when it was first released in its beta testing phase for iOS. The Android version was still being developed then but now it’s ready for download from the Google Play Store. This public beta version makes anyone in the Android community see for himself what Flow is all about.
Microsoft Flow is plain and simple: it’s an interface where one can automate several tasks and cloud services in one place. Much like IFTTT, it’s pretty useful but Microsoft intended this more for the workplace and business owners. If you regularly use any of the following apps, you are free to schedule alerts and tasks: Dynamics CRM, PowerApps, Yammer, Office 365, MailChimp, GitHub, Salesforce, and Slack.
App is now available for public beta. We can consider it as a business app now that can manage and automate workflows in the office. Any file, web service, or cloud data can seamlessly be integrated into the Microsoft Flow.
App also allows you to do many things like follow-up or track new sales leads, inform the whole team when a task is done or updated, quickly respond to important notifications or emails, plus get an overview of the data the “flows” are gathering. It offers almost real-time tracking and control so you’re always aware of your work and team’s progress.
