Motorola’s latest duo–the Moto G4 and G4 PlUS–are now available in the US via the Moto Maker. The Lenovo-owned company still pushed through with the Moto Maker because there’s a great demand for personalized smartphones. The new Moto G4 family is the first batch of product offering from the company this year. After months of leaks, rumors, and being spotted in the wild, Motorola finally announced the new smartphones last May .
The Moto G4 is the current flagship but its specs are mid-range. It can be a bestseller because of its simple features and affordability. At only $199, the phone comes equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP camera, octa-core processor, TurboPower charging technology, and a 2800mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Moto G4 Plus slightly has better specs including the 3000mAh battery, 3GB RAM, and 32GB built-in storage. Price starts at $249 for the 16GB model but that’s still within the mid-range category.
With Moto Maker, you are free to personalize the colors, design, and material of your Moto G4 or G4 Plus. Choose a different color for the front and back. Select an accent color and have your name or initials engraved if you want. You can also customize a greeting and choose the mobile carrier you want to use if you’re getting a new phone.
