Samsung is expected to officially announce the new Galaxy C5 any day know since numerous images and information are being leaked the past few weeks. The mid-range Android smartphone recently dropped by TENAA right after a set of photos were also published. We know the new Galaxy C will have a slim and metallic design and some details were sighted on AnTuTu.
Today, we’ve got another set of renders that look like official ones. The all-metal phone looks elegant and expensive in gold but don’t worry as it’s just a mid-ranger. Specs of the phone include a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1080p display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, Dual SIM support, 16MP main camera (dual-LED flash), 8MP selfie cam, 150Mbps LTE, connectivity, and a 2600mAh battery. Phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
We’re not sure if the Samsung Galaxy C5 will be exclusive to the Chinese market or if it will be available in other regions as well. It’s just one of the new additions to the Galaxy C series by the South Korean tech giant. It’s just a mid-range line despite the memory at 4GB already. We’re guessing Samsung is slowly upgrading the mid-range with 4GB RAM while the really high-end and premium phones will soon have 6GB RAM. We’ll see.
