Sony slipped and confirmed something it’s not supposed to. It seemed to have accidentally shared the Xperia E5 on its Facebook account bu post has since been removed. Of course, there are eagle eyes so expect the photos we’re now sharing here to be shared all over the world just before the official launch. Some information were leaked as well as per a GFXBench listing.
The Xperia E5 is actually long overdue since last year’s Xperia E4 was launched around February. The Xperia E4 even arrived with the E4 Dual and the E4G models. We just know the E5 is coming become of this “hint” that Sony accidentally showed off.
So far, we learned that the specs of the Xperia E5, believed to be the Sony F3311, include a 4.6-inch 720p screen, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, and a MediaTek MT6735 chipset. Actually, even the page on the benchmark site is no longer accessible. Sony isn’t exactly keeping it a secret but someone seems to be not doing his job well in keeping information tight. That’s not easy in this day and age of the Internet because once it’s out, it’s out–it’s going to be everywhere.
The photos here are only renders of the yet-to-be-announced Xperia E5. No word on availability and pricing yet but we hope to know once Sony makes the official announcement.
