The next Xiaomi Mi smartphone would be bigger. Actually, it’s more of a phablet based on the leaked front panel last weak which we’re expecting to be the Xiaomi Max. Super moderator at the MIUI forum vincent_khoo shared what Mi devices have been released so far and asked the community members to guess what could be next. After the Redmi 2, Mi 4c, Mi 4s, Redmi 3, Redmi Note 3, and the Mi Pad, Xiaomi is expected to show of a phablet.

We know it’s going to have a massive display but can still be put inside your pocket. Screen at 6.4-inches? Maybe. We’re hoping some very thin size bezels too if we are to believe the panel we saw earlier.

The two holes flanking the earpiece on top of the screen could be the camera and a sensor. The image above only confirms the previous leak because the position of the holes and the earpiece are correct, as well as, the slightly rounded edges that very well remind us of an iPhone 6.

Definitely, it’s a phablet–big to be considered as just a phone but too small to be called just a tablet. This Xiaomi Max phablet can rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, YU Yureka Note, Lenovo PHAB, or the Archos Diamond Note 2. Let’s just wait and see.
